At Fundraiser Blankets, we believe that warmth shouldn’t stop at the customer. That’s why, behind every blanket we produce, there’s a deeper mission, to serve both our fundraising clients and communities in need. Donating blankets to those in need fills a special place in our hearts!
We’ve quietly donated hundreds of custom blankets to women’s shelters, animal rescues, foster homes, and homeless outreach centers. These donations come from overstock, test runs or minor misprints that don't meet our sales standards but are still perfectly soft, warm, and useful.
Rather than discarding them, we’ve turned them into something meaningful. Every blanket we donate helps create comfort where it’s needed most, without waste. From keeping veterans and the homeless warm during the harshest months to providing a comfort throw to a hurt pup, every blanket, throw and towel helps.
50,000 Extra Custom Blankets
Yes, we donated over 50,000 blankets in 2024 to a variety of places. Yes, this took extra logistical work, late nights, deliveries and drop offs, but every last additional hour of work was completely worth us knowing that we are spreading warmth and comfort.
Not every blanket comes out picture-perfect. Sometimes it's a print that's slightly off-center or a color that's a shade too light. But the blanket itself? Still brand new, still soft, still full of warmth.
Instead of discarding these imperfect blankets, we put them to good use. We donate them to places where a perfect print doesn’t matter but comfort absolutely does.
Our donated blankets have made their way to:
Animal shelters, where rescue pets and injured animals finally get something soft to rest on homeless and transitional housing shelters, where warmth is always in short supply and local support programs.
We don’t let them sit in boxes. Through our social media community, especially on Facebook, we connect directly with shelters in need. Many of our donations start with a tag or message from someone in our audience.
It’s simple, immediate, and personal. Because when someone needs warmth, we want to be ready.

This means we understand community on a deeper level. Our founders know what it’s like to juggle school budgets, manage student needs, and lead with compassion. That’s why we designed Fundraiser Blankets to make fundraising easier, more profitable, and more meaningful, for schools, teams, and nonprofits alike.
But more than that, we want to be part of a cycle of giving. We don’t just create cozy, oversized blankets for schools and organizations, we use the same product to support people and animals in crisis.

We’d love to take all the credit but we absolutely cannot! Without the dedicated people that run these shelters and organizations and the many volunteers who helped us rent trucks and deliver blankets and towels, you are the real hero. And no, I won’t tell the story of our founder driving a semi sized uhaul and the hiccup we had on a wide turn… because it was all worth it!

We’re working on exploring our donation efforts even further:
- Launching community blanket and towel drives and co-donations
- Spreading the word, no one should ever toss towels, blankets, or sheets… animals shelters will take them!
- Giving supporters a chance to nominate shelters directly
- Partner with corporations to make our donations even larger
