Fundraiser Blankets® is operated by Birdy Boutique LLC, doing business as Fundraiser Blankets®. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Fundraiser Blankets®.
We value your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and, importantly, what we do not do with it. It applies to all of our web properties, including this website and any Ship-to-Home store we build and host on behalf of a customer organization.
We work with two distinct groups of people, and we treat their information differently:
Our customers. Schools, PTOs, PTAs, sports teams, etc., and the individuals who run their fundraisers. When your organization runs a fundraiser with Fundraiser Blankets®, your organization is our customer.
Supporters who purchase through a Ship-to-Home store. These are the families, friends, and community members who buy a blanket to support your fundraiser. They are your supporters, not our marketing audience. Section 3 explains exactly how we handle their information.
From website visitors. Our website uses industry standard analytics tools that automatically gather limited information about visitors and store it in server log files. This may include IP addresses, browser type, referring pages, operating system, and date and time stamps. This information is used for site administration and for analysis of website usage and trends.
From organizations and fundraiser coordinators. When you request a sample, request a quote, or start a fundraiser, we collect the information you provide, such as name, organization, role, email address, phone number, mailing address, artwork and design files, and order details. We use this information to communicate with you, produce and fulfill your order, provide support, and, where you have opted in, send you marketing communications about Fundraiser Blankets® products and programs.
From purchasers on a Ship-to-Home store. We collect only what is required to complete the transaction: name, shipping address, email address and phone number for order and delivery notifications, order details, and payment information. Payment card information is processed by our secure third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
What a Ship-to-Home store is. A Ship-to-Home store is an online store that Fundraiser Blankets® builds and hosts on behalf of a customer organization for the duration of its fundraiser. Instead of the organization collecting paper order forms and payments and then distributing blankets by hand, individual supporters visit the store, place and pay for their own orders, and we ship each blanket directly to that supporter's home. This section governs any such store.
Our relationship is with the organization. We build and host the Ship-to-Home store on your organization's behalf, and your organization shares it with its audience. The individuals who purchase from that store are your supporters. We treat their information accordingly.
What we do with purchaser information. We collect only what is required to complete the transaction, as described in Section 2. That information is used solely to fulfill and ship the order, to send transactional messages about that order (order confirmation, shipping confirmation, tracking, and delivery updates), to handle customer service and returns for that order, and to meet our tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
What we do NOT do with purchaser information. We do not use it for any marketing purpose. Specifically:
What your organization's coordinator can see. The coordinator running your Ship-to-Home store has access to a limited view of order activity. That view shows the purchaser's name, email address, and their tracking number only. Coordinators do not see shipping addresses, phone numbers, payment information, or any other personal information belonging to your supporters. Shipping and payment details are visible only to Fundraiser Blankets® and to the service providers described in Section 6 who need them to process and deliver the order. Any use your organization makes of the names and email addresses it can see is governed by your organization's own privacy practices, not ours.
Confidentiality. Purchaser information is kept confidential and is shared only with the service providers described in Section 6 who need it to fulfill and deliver the order.
If your organization needs additional assurances in writing for its board, district, or administrative approval process, contact us and we will provide them.
Cookies may be used to provide easier and faster access to website features, such as logins and repeat visits. Cookies are very small text files stored on your device for reference purposes. We do not store personally identifiable information in cookies.
We use analytics and advertising technologies on our marketing website to understand site usage and to reach potential customer organizations. Nothing in this section overrides Section 3: information from purchasers on a Ship-to-Home store is not used to build or target advertising audiences.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Some parts of the site may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
Any information you provide for text messaging purposes, including your phone number and opt-in consent, will be kept private and will not be sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties. We do not share personal information including phone numbers, text message opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
If you have opted in to text messages from us, you may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.
We share personal information only with service providers who need it to operate our business and deliver orders, and only for that purpose. These include our payment processor, print and fulfillment facilities, shipping carriers, email and order notification platforms, and our website and e-commerce hosting providers. These providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process, or to investigate fraud or a security incident.
We have never sold personal information, and we do not sell it. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This applies to every category of person described in this policy: website visitors, customer organizations and their coordinators, and supporters who purchase through a Ship-to-Home store.
We retain order and transaction information for as long as necessary to fulfill the order, provide support, and meet our tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping obligations. Marketing contact information for customer organizations is retained until you opt out or ask us to delete it.
You may opt out of our marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about an order you placed.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion of it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do not sell or share personal information for marketing). To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 12. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
This website may contain links to other sites that are not controlled by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or policies of any website other than our own. We suggest that you review the privacy policy of every website you visit.
Registration is not required to use or access this website. We may make forums, blogs, message boards, or similar features available. If you post comments or content to any such feature, any personally identifiable information you include may be read, collected, and used by anyone viewing it. We are not responsible for personally identifiable information you choose to make available through these channels.
Our website and stores are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
