Fundraiser Blankets^® was built on a simple idea: fundraising should feel good, not painful. Co-founded by sisters Joanna Serra and Barbara Kent, our Michigan-based company designs custom blankets that schools, nonprofits, and community groups sell to raise money, something people are genuinely excited to buy instead of another candy bar or wrapping paper catalog.

That idea has taken off fast. We landed a deal on Shark Tank (Season 17), earned a spot on the INC 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America, and we're just getting started. Now we're looking for someone who can bring that same energy to conventions and trade shows nationwide, introducing new partners to a fundraising product they'll actually be proud to sell.

Role Overview

We're seeking a high-energy Convention & Trade Show Booth Representative to be the face of Fundraiser Blankets^® at industry conventions, trade shows, and community events across the country. This is not a sit-and-wait role. We want someone who hustles the entire event, approaching attendees, working the aisles during slow stretches, and turning every conversation into an opportunity. This is a high-travel role as well, we're looking for someone who can attend a full, active calendar of events throughout the year, including consecutive multi-day trips and events with limited notice.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively approach and engage attendees rather than waiting for them to come to you, this role is about hustle, not standing behind a table
  Work the floor during slow booth traffic: walk the aisles, strike up conversations, and network with other exhibitors and attendees to generate leads
• Stay on your feet and engaged for the full length of each event, we rarely take breaks and expect the same drive from our team
• Attend a high volume of conventions and trade shows throughout the year, including back-to-back travel weeks
• Set up, staff, and break down the Fundraiser Blankets^® booth at each assigned event
• Clearly and enthusiastically communicate our product, mission, and fundraising model to every person you meet
• Qualify leads and capture contact information for follow up by the partnerships team
• Distribute marketing materials, samples, and promotional items to prospective partners
• Answer questions about pricing, customization options, and the fundraising process
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing booth throughout each event
• Track booth traffic, lead volume, and notable conversations, and report back to the Director of Partnerships
• Coordinate logistics such as booth shipping, setup schedules, and travel arrangements
• Represent Fundraiser Blankets^® values and brand voice with energy and enthusiasm at every event

Qualifications
‍

No prior experience required, we're looking for the right personality and availability that can travel independently, not a specific resume. Candidates should have:
‍

• Full flexibility to travel extensively independently, including extended trips, back-to-back events, and last-minute schedule changes throughout the year
• High energy and self-motivation, comfortable being on your feet all day and staying engaged from the moment the doors open until they close
• A natural hustler: someone who approaches strangers first, works the room during slow moments, and doesn't wait around for traffic to come to you
• An outgoing, approachable personality, comfortable striking up conversations with strangers
• Comfortable working on a 1099 basis with lead-based compensation
• Connection to school, sports, or parent communities is a plus, you'll relate easily to the coaches, PTA members, and team parents who make up many of our partners, but this isn't required
• Basic office and computer skills (Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail) to facilitate follow-up with leads
• Customer service experience or natural ability, in person, by email, and over the phone
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs and carry booth setup materials, a checked bag, and a carry-on while traveling
