Fundraiser Blankets® is a proud Michigan-owned and women-owned company founded by Joanna, a former educator, and Barbara, a disabled woman combat veteran. With a shared passion for education, they created Learning Blankets® and Fundraiser Blankets® to give schools, sports teams, and community organizations an affordable and high-profit way to raise money for the programs that matter most.
As former educators and community advocates, the founders wanted to move away from traditional fundraisers that rely on unhealthy treats or disposable trinkets. Instead, they designed a fundraiser that gives families something meaningful—a warm, custom spirit blanket that becomes a keepsake full of school pride and lasting memories. It’s zero calories, allergy-friendly, comforting, and truly valued by parents and students alike.
Fundraiser Blankets®, powered by Birdy Boutique, was also featured on Shark Tank. The appearance highlighted their mission-driven approach, their commitment to education, and their dedication to creating a fair, equitable, and high-profit fundraising solution for communities nationwide. The Sharks were drawn to their story, the impact they’ve made, and the heart behind their business.
