About our Fundraiser
This fundraiser supports the H³ Time Travelers Book Club, made up of our middle and high school students who read historical fiction novels throughout the school year and complete comprehension activities for each book. At the end of the year, they are eligible to participate in the culminating summer trip to historically significant places.
Over the past 14 years, we have been fortunate enough to take approximately 12 to 15 students each year on a 5-day trip to places like NOLA, Mammoth Cave, Kentucky, Washington D.C., Sequoia National Park, Mt. Rushmore, the Badlands, and Durango/Silverton, Colorado. Last year, we took 23 students and sponsors to the Grand Canyon and Sedona, Arizona. Students learn about the history, landscape, and culture of each place, providing an excellent educational experience.
